On the eve of his first wedding anniversary, Prince Harry returned to the chapel where he exchanged vows with Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. The new father, who married the former actress in Windsor Castle on May 19 last year, stepped out on Saturday for the wedding of Lady Gabriella Windsor, who tied the knot with her long-term partner at St George's Chapel. The PR director bride, who wed financier Thomas Kingston, is the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, the former of whom is Queen Elizabeth II’s first cousin. The Queen was in attendance at the ceremony, along with Prince Philip, Princess Anne, Prince Harry and Prince Edward. The nuptials were held at Windsor Castle, where Princess Eugenie also wed Jack Brooksbank on October 12, 2018. Also turning up in their wedding-guest best were Carole and Michael Middleton, parents of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, and Princess Beatrice and Sarah, Duchess of York. Missing, however, was the Duchess of Sussex, who welcomed hers and Prince Harry's first child, Archie Harrison, on May 6. The Duke of Cambridge was also not at the wedding, as his role as president of the Football Association meant he was at the FA Cup final between Manchester City and Watford. For her big day, Lady Gabriella, 38, wore a bespoke lace creation by Luisa Beccaria, finished with delicate embroidery. The bride is the sister of Lord Frederick Windsor, who is married to Peep Show actress Sophie Winkleman. Lady Gabriella and Thomas Kingston's engagement was announced in September 2018 after the groom proposed on the Isle of Sark in the English Channel.
