Louis Vuitton has unveiled its latest fine jewellery collection – the second from the brand’s artistic director of watches and jewellery, Francesca Amfitheatrof. The unisex pieces place the spotlight on the brand’s initials, with a capital ‘L’ and ‘V’ merging into architectural, graphic designs that combines precise, clean lines with soft, smooth contours. In the collection’s “first chapter”, the lines of the letters cut through space, creating sharp angles offset by gold and diamonds. The letters come together, split apart, gather, fall away, contrast, blend, stack up, interact and complete each other, creating a series of graphic symbols. In the “second chapter” the interplay between the letters becomes more intricate, as the L and V are linked to create myriad textures, volumes and dimensions. The collection is brought to a close with the two letters being transformed into claws that that can be stacked on fingers. The collection pre-relaunched in the region as of Wednesday, July 1. _________________ Read more: Paris Fashion Week to go ahead in September Haute couture and chill: Rami Al Ali captures creatives wearing high fashion at home 'The one who stays, wins': How Cindy Chao built a glittering jewellery label from scratch _________________
