Miss Universe Catriona Gray will be making her first visit to the UAE. She will be in Dubai for three days from Thursday, September 19 to Saturday, September 21. She will have a quick meet-and-greet with her fans in the BurJuman Mall on Thursday. For those who want to see the beauty queen, they can head to the mall where a fashion show will take place in the main activity area from 6pm. The 25-year-old Gray will come out on stage around 7.30pm to greet fans and do a quick Q&A session expected to last about 30 minutes. Gray’s schedule is packed and she likely won’t have any other public appearances. On the second day, she will attend the Annual Galad Awards hosted by Xpedition Magazine which will raise funds for a charity organisation for children called Smile Train. She will also be honoured with the Woman of the Year award. However, if fans are still keen on trying to see Gray, they can try their luck. She may spend her last day in the emirate going sightseeing around the city and hitting up the major tourist attractions. She will also be staying at the Grand Millennium Dubai for the duration of her trip. Gray was crowned Miss Universe 2018 in December. She spent her childhood living in Australia. She was born in Cairns in 1994 to a Scottish-Australian father, Ian Gray, and a Filipina mother Normita Ragas Magnayon. The family lived in Cairns until Catriona finished high school, and she moved to the Philippines in her late teens.
