Dubai's home-grown hypercar, the Fenyr SuperSport, is going on show at venues around the city to give those who can't afford the Dh6 million ($1.6m) price tag a chance to have a peep at the ultra-rare, limited-edition vehicle. Visitors won't have the chance to get behind the wheel and take it out for a spin round the city's streets, but if they're willing to buy a collectible scale model of the W Motors car, they'll be able to enter a draw to actually win one, as part of the 2021 Dubai Shopping Festival's DSF Supercar Raffle. First unveiled in 2015 at the Dubai International Motor Show, the SuperSport has been set a production run of just 111 units (which may seem small, but is considerably more than the seven cars its predecessor, the Lykan HyperSport, was limited to). The SuperSport is powered by a 3.8-litre flat-six engine that will pump out 800 horsepower. That is sufficient to get from a standing start to 100 kilometres per hour in 2.8 seconds. And, flat out, the SuperSport will hit 400kph, a speed that is likely to prove hair-thinning to even the hardiest on a track day. It began its Dubai tour at The Pointe, before moving onto Dubai Design District, where it will stay until Thursday, March 11, with Topgolf Dubai getting hosting rights thereafter. The SuperSport will then move on to Mall of the Emirates and City Centre Mirdif, where its tenure will come to a close on Monday, March 22. Back to that business about the draw, though: if you want to be included, visit www.idealz.com or www.mydsf.ae before Sunday, May 30 and purchase the SuperSport scale model for Dh1,500.
