Ras Al Khaimah will reverberate to the sound of hundreds of motorbikes this week with the launch of RAK Road Riders. The four-day event, which gets under way on Wednesday and ends on Saturday, is split into four main sections, including a custom bike show, the Stunt Masters Cup and a retail business expo at the RAK Exhibition Centre. A total of more than 40 exhibitors will show off their wares at the custom bike show, including Harley-Davidson, the famed American bikemaker that celebrates its 115th birthday this year, as well as Royal Enfield and Suzuki. The Stunt Masters Cup will star death-defying feats by riders from five continents. The finale of the four days will see more than 500 bikers from around the world take part in the Zayed in Our Hearts ride to Jebel Jais, the UAE's highest mountain, as part of the Year of Zayed celebrations. On the final day, there will also be an attempt to break the world record for the most back wheelies in a minute. “RAK Road Riders 2018 combines business and the passion for bikes in a unique blend, so there is something for everyone,” said Mohamed Ali Musabbeh Al Nuaimi, chairman of the board of directors of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is organising the event alongside RAK Exhibition Centre and Events Lab.
