YouGov has revealed that the most admired woman in the world is Michelle Obama. The former First Lady has gone up one space in the annual poll, knocking actress Angelina Jolie off the top spot and down to number three. Oprah Winfrey takes second place. The list features a host of Bollywood stars, including Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen, ranked at numbers 13, 14, 16 and 17, respectively. Sen is a new comer to the list, and Padukone, Chopra and Rai have all placed before. Young female education activist, Malala Yousafzai, also makes the list at number six, behind Britain's Queen Elizabeth II and <em>Harry Potter</em> actress and environmentalist, Emma Watson, at number five. Yousafzai is the youngest person to rank on either the women's or men's lists. As well as Indian actress, Sen, there is a number of newcomers on the list. Peng Liyuan, the Chinese folk singer and the wife of Xi Jinping, the General Secretary of the China's Communist Party, has made the list for the first time, ranking high on her debut at number seven. It is also the first time Chinese scientist Tu Youyou, chat show host Ellen DeGeneres and current US First Lady Melania Trump have ranked. There is certainly a political focus on the list, as Hillary Clinton, Angela Merkel and Theresa May all make the top 20, as well as the aforementioned First Ladies, past and present. YouGov is a British market research and data analytics firm, which releases regular surveys and current affairs analysis. YouGiov also ranks the World's Most Admired Men. Bill Gates tops the list, with Barack Obama, Jackie Chan, Xi Jinping and Jack Ma rounding out the top five. US President Donald Trump comes in at number 14, behind other current world leaders, India's Narendra Modi and Russia's Vladimir Putin at numbers six and 10. Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan is at number 17 and Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdogan, number 19. Bollywood stars have a heavy presence on the men's list too. Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are listed at 12, 16 and 18. Sportsmen also get a look in. Footballers <span>Cristiano </span>Ronaldo and Lionel Messi both make the cut in the top 20.
