Etihad Airways is offering discounted return flights to a number of destinations as part of a 49-hour flash sale. The national airline of the UAE has launched a new offer ahead of National Day on Wednesday, December 2, to mark the occasion. As part of the sale, Etihad has introduced a Dh49 deposit which can be made to secure the discounted flights. Customers then have up to 21 days before their trip to pay off the remaining balance, but the initial deposit is non-refundable. The sale, which launched on November 11, runs until 10am on Friday, November 13. As part of the campaign, economy return flights from Abu Dhabi to the Lebanese capital of Beirut start from Dh1,249, or from Dh6,649 for business class fares. Economy return flights from the UAE capital to Cairo, Egypt, start from Dh1,349 or Dh5,349 for business class, while return tickets from Abu Dhabi to Amman, Jordan, start from Dh2,049 for economy fares and Dh6,649 for business class. Trips to the Greek capital of Athens are also included, with return economy flights from Dh2,449 and business class tickets from Dh10,949, while a return fare from Abu Dhabi to the Maldives will cost from Dh3,049 for economy class and Dh7,649 in business class. Discounted tickets, which can be booked at <a href="https://www.etihad.com/en-us/">etihad.com</a>, are on offer for flights departing until September 30, 2021. The airline is also offering holiday packages in Cairo, Athens and the Maldives, which include three nights in a four or five-star hotel, starting from Dh1,649 to stay at the Grand Nile Tower in Cairo. All travellers are currently required to present negative test results in order to board Etihad flights.
