"This precautionary measure is being taken to limit the spread of Covid-19, and does not currently affect Etihad's passenger services into Pakistan from Abu Dhabi." Strict travel regulations remain in place in Abu Dhabi to curb the spread of Covid-19. Upon arrival in the emirate, passengers must self-isolate for 14 days. The airline also specifies: "Due to government restrictions across our network, you will only be permitted to carry a personal item on board, such as a handbag, backpack or laptop bag. This can weigh up to 5kg. You may check in your remaining cabin baggage before you fly for free. This applies if you are flying in Economy, Business or First. "Our lounges in Abu Dhabi remain closed, and we’re working to reopen them as soon as we can."
