After months of closures, many gyms across the UAE are now back up and running, ready to welcome familiar and new faces back and get them moving once again. Gyms in Dubai began operating at the end of May, while Abu Dhabi gyms have been given the green light to reopen from Wednesday, July 1. All gyms are required to adhere to strict social distancing measures, including ensuring a two-metre gap between members are all times and sterilisation of all equipment between use. And those who may not yet be members of gyms in the UAE, or are looking to try something new, can currently take advantage of a number of summer offers. Here are some of the best deals around... This Dubai stalwart, with outposts in DIFC, Al Quoz, Business Bay, D3, Springs Souk and JBR, is offering several deals, depending on how long you want to join for. Buy a three-month, six-month or annual membership at full price, and you'll get 50 per cent back in credit. You can use your credit on food or drink at the juice bar, or on personal training sessions. The offer is available at all six of their locations. Barry’s Bootcamp, which has studios in DIFC and the Marina, is offering a special summer package deal throughout July and August. For Dh350, you can purchase the Summer Weekly Membership, which will allow you to go to four Barry’s classes within seven days. The non-shareable deal is valid from Wednesday, July 1 and cannot be used beyond Monday, August 31. The seven-day period will begin from when you take your first class. Quantum Health Club at Dubai’s H Hotel is currently offering a buy one get one free deal on its monthly membership. With prices starting from Dh1,390 for a month, friends and gym buddies will be able to split the cost and take advantage of the hotel’s gym and recreational facilities. The health club also offers Peloton classes at a discounted rate for members. The hotel’s swimming pool and Mandara Spa remain closed until further notice. Zabeel House's dedicated gym and spa has opened with an incredibly wallet-friendly deal of just Dh350 per month or Dh3,750 per year.
