The Hundred Wellness Centre starts its Ramadan (re) boot camp today, but there are still places available for those who’d like to join. The month-long programme will help participants continue their fitness regimen, while still fasting during Ramadan.
The ladies-only programme includes a body composition analysis at the start and end of the programme, talk by clinical nutritionist Ryan Penny on how to eat consciously during Ramadan, eight super circuit classes, four body weight classes, four Pilates clases and a 20 per cent discount on fresh cold-pressed juices.
Classes will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 4.30pm until June 8, and all classes must be booked at least four hours ahead. The programme costs Dh1,500.

Salman Khan’s father, Salim Khan, is one of Bollywood’s most legendary screenwriters. Through his partnership with co-writer Javed Akhtar, Salim is credited with having paved the path for the Indian film industry’s blockbuster format in the 1970s. Something his son now rules the roost of. More importantly, the Salim-Javed duo also created the persona of the “angry young man” for Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the 1970s, reflecting the angst of the average Indian. In choosing to be the ordinary man’s “hero” as opposed to a thespian in new Bollywood, Salman Khan remains tightly linked to his father’s oeuvre. Thanks dad.
