Ramadan in Jordan will start on Tuesday, the country’s mufti said on Monday. Abdulkarim Al Khasawneh said a religious council “briefed on the results of an investigation of the crescent [moon] of Ramadan affirmed that tomorrow, Tuesday, is the first day of the holy month".
