I write to you in reference to lan Oxborrow's article Imran Khan leads tributes to 'genius' Abdul Qadir after former Pakistan leg-spinner dies aged 63 (September 7).
This piece about the late cricket leg spinner Abdul Qadir was an enjoyable read.
In his 13 years as a cricketer Abdul Qadir, the leg spinner, created an awesome record of 236 test wickets. He was one of the best leg spinners in those days. His death is a great loss to the cricket world and tributes for him are pouring in not only from Pakistan, with prime minister Imran Khan paying tribute to the late star, but also from other cricket players.
