Ansu Fati is one of the most exciting young prospects in football and is considered the future of both Barcelona and the Spain national team. Ever since Fati, 17, broke through into the Barca first team - he scored his first senior goal one year ago - the teenage forward has enjoyed a meteoric rise and his form has been rewarded with his first call-up to the national squad. A resident in Spain since the age of six, Guinea-Bissau-born Fati has only been a Spanish citizen for less than a year. He would likely have received a call-up by national team manager Luis Enrique even sooner were it not for the postponement of fixtures - including Euro 2020 - due to the coronavirus pandemic. Fati could earn his first Spain cap in the Uefa Nations League group stage opener against Germany on Thursday, or against Ukraine on Sunday. The Barcelona forward has been trying to impress Enrique during a training camp in Madrid this week, and by the looks of the pictures in the photo gallery above, the manager liked what he sees.
