The latest Premier League weekend saw a number of impressive individual performances, none more so than at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium where the hosts <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/sport/football/ruthless-spurs-despatch-blunt-manchester-city-1.1115303">defeated Manchester City 2-0</a> on Saturday evening. That match came after two other fixtures on Saturday, with <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/sport/football/chelsea-dominate-at-st-james-park-for-fifth-consecutive-victory-1.1115203">Chelsea strolling to a 2-0 win</a> at Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove Alibion claiming three precious points at Aston Villa. Sunday started with Manchester United <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/sport/football/manchester-united-squeak-past-west-brom-courtesy-of-penalty-controversies-1.1115305">edging past West Bromwich Albion</a> thanks to what has become a customary Bruno Fernandes penalty. Everton then got back to winning ways with a 3-2 victory at Fulham, before West Ham United consigned bottom club <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/sport/football/sebastien-haller-heaps-misery-on-sheffield-united-as-west-ham-win-away-1.1115861">Sheffield United to another defeat</a>. Arsenal, reduced to 10 men for most of the second half, then somehow managed to <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/sport/football/goal-shy-arsenal-and-nicolas-pepe-get-rattled-against-leeds-united-1.1115925">escape Elland Road with a point</a> after Leeds United hit the woodwork three times. Sunday concluded with injury-hit Liverpool <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/sport/football/under-strength-liverpool-still-too-strong-for-leicester-1.1115943">brushing aside Leicester City 3-0</a> as the champions made it a record 64 home matches unbeaten. There are still two matches of the round left to play as Burnley host Crystal Palace on Monday night and Southampton travel to Wolves on Tuesday.
