So the midwinter break is over, and the Premier League returns to the regular 10 games over the long weekend. The players are supposed to be rested and raring to go for the final dozen games of the season, although it didn't really seem to stop at all, just slow down a little. It does mean there have been no major movers over the last fortnight, although Newcastle and Crystal Palace may be even more nervous than they were before. Liverpool's lead at the top extended to 25 points before Wednesday night, when Manchester City's victory over West Ham cut that to a mere 22. The poor Hammers are not having it easy. Their next game, after that defeat at the home of the champions, is a visit to the home of the nearly champions. Liverpool v West Ham on Monday night at midnight is the last game of the round. It all starts at 4.30pm on Saturday when Chelsea host Tottenham, two teams out of form but with it all to play for. The late game on Saturday is Leicester v Manchester City at 9.30pm. Sunday's action sees Manchester United host Watford at 6pm, and Everton go to Arsenal at 8.30pm.
