Manchester City Football School in Dubai returns to two new indoor venues on Sunday with a coaching programme throughout June for boys and girls aged 12-18 years. Dubai Sports Council has set out a series of guidelines for return of sports and the Manchester City Football School has met all criteria for a safe resumption. These include temperature testing on arrival, sanitisation of all equipment every hour, non-contact practises, and social distancing along with personal safety equipment of gloves and masks for coaches and players. The sessions will be held at two venues in Dubai – Koora Dome at Al Wasl and Just Play at Al Quoz – and the timings are from 6-7pm, Sunday to Thursday. Manchester City Football Schools has been running in the UAE for 10 years and coaches use the same techniques as employed at Manchester City FC. Head of Football Operations MENA, Simon Hewitt, said: “We have been working closely with the Dubai Sports Council and the venues to make sure we comply with all the required health and safety guidelines, and we are delighted to be welcoming back players. “The sessions are open to all boys and girls aged between 12 and 18 years and of all abilities. This is very much about fun, getting back to sport, safe social interaction and good mental health for players. As a coaching team, we have designed sessions with this in mind and we can’t wait to get started.” To book a place, contact CFS.Dubai@Cityfootball.com or call +971 (0) 56 538 9501.
