Premier League champions Liverpool have been knocked off top spot after failing to win any of their last three matches. Since demolishing Crystal Palace 7-0, Liverpool have been held to a draw by lowly West Bromwich and Newcastle, and beaten by Southampton. But Jurgen Klopp's have the chance to regain the momentum when they take on new leaders Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday, a fixture full of history between two giants of English football. Klopp, with Liverpool stars Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, James Milner and others, tuned up for the fiery encounter in training, as they bid to return to form. Liverpool are 16 points worse off than the equivalent amount of games last season, but are still only three points off first place. They are also unbeaten in their last four Premier League games against United, last losing 2-1 to them in March 2018 at Old Trafford. United last won at Anfield in January 2016, beating them 1-0 in the Premier League, and a similar result could have a huge bearing on the race for the title.
