Liverpool's 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion meant they extended their own record of consecutive unbeaten league games at Anfield. The match was the 67th in a row without defeat at home, beating the club’s all-time best run set between 1978 and 1981 under manager Bob Paisley. It was April 2017 when the Reds last lost on home soil in the top flight - beaten by Crystal Palace - and an incredible 55 wins and 11 draws have followed. Jurgen Klopp's champions will hope to extend their record when they host Manchester United on January 17. This current unbeaten run is now bettered by only one other in English top-flight history – the run of 86 matches registered by Chelsea up to 2008.
