Argentine football fans stumbled into a mini street dance party in St Petersburg on Monday, joining locals who were keen to show off their Latin dancing skills to their newest visitors. Latin music lovers of all ages unleashed their moves in the spontaneous street dance in the centre of Russia's second city. More than a dozen couples danced the salsa and shimmied to upbeat Latin songs as passers-by on the road looked on in amazement. Organisers in St Petersburg try to stage open-air dancing across the city centre during the summer months. DJ Vorobyey said World Cup fans were regularly joining in, adding that it is a welcome sight. Argentina face Nigeria at the Saint Petersburg Stadium on Tuesday in their crucial Group D match.
