Former champion Kim In-kyung will return to Emirates Golf Club next month to attempt to capture a second Omega Dubai Ladies Masters crown.
The 2009 winner, who claimed a three-shot victory eight years ago, was on Tuesday confirmed for the tournament, which brings down the curtain on the Ladies European Tour (LET) season.
South Korean Kim has enjoyed a fine 2017, triumphing three times to record her first multi-win campaign, including landing a first major at the Women’s British Open in August.
Kim has fond memories of the Dubai Ladies Masters after her previous success. Then, she shot a final-round 68 to hold off a charge from American Michelle Wie and take the trophy. Little wonder she is looking forward to the December 6-9 event.

“I always have fun playing in Dubai,” Kim said. “They have a great field each year and that makes things interesting. Hopefully, I will be in good form during the week. I have so many memories of Dubai that stand out and look forward to having another fun week in Dubai.
“I really like playing the Majlis course. They have some good holes, dogleg left and right, and you have to kind of pick the right target to hit the fairway. So, it's cool to come and play in Dubai.”
Kim, 29, returned in 2010 but could not hold on to her title, eventually finishing tied-sixth. She has 10 career wins to date, and two runner-up finishes in major championships. In 2010, she was voted the LET’s rookie of the year.
Kim joins an already strong field in Dubai, with Dame Laura Davies, Brittany Lincicome and Suzann Pettersen confirmed. Entry to the tournament is free, but fans must register online for tickets.
