Manchester United's players and manager were unanimous in their verdict that Howard Webb was correct to award the early, match-deciding penalty against Liverpool for Daniel Agger's foul on Dimitar Berbatov.
"Of course it was a penalty. There was enough contact for me to lose my balance and people know I do not go to ground easily," Berbatov told ITV.
"I thought Liverpool put in a good performance and I thought their keeper Jose Reina was their best player and made some good saves, but we were the better side."
Sir Alex Ferguson, the manager, said: "It was a penalty. Dimitar says he was definitely clipped. The replay shows he [Agger] slightly touched him but the momentum is enough to bring the player down. There is no reason for him to go down anyway. He is not that kind of player."
Ryan Giggs, who converted the spot kick, said "I couldn't see it myself. Defensively we looked good and we could have scored more today."

How to get exposure to gold
