The pair previously fought back in 2014 at featherweight, with McGregor claiming a first round KO win. Ahead of the rematch, both fighters need to undergo a quarantine period in their hotel rooms and McGregor started his on Monday after arriving on Yas Island. Upon pulling up to the W Abu Dhabi in a Rolls Royce, McGregor was greeted by staff in hazmat suits, with one chanting "The Notorious is in the house!" McGregor, dressed only in trousers and wearing a face mask, recognised their welcome before carrying his son out of the car and into the hotel lobby. The former two-weight UFC champion had made his way from Dubai to Abu Dhabi on a luxury yacht, where he posted photos of himself meditating on Monday. He also uploaded a photo of the new Etihad Arena where Sunday's show will take place and where around 2,000 fans will be present to watch his first fight in more than a year.
