One Pro League match from each matchday will be broadcast with English commentary, starting with Al Jazira v Al Wasl tomorrow, the UAE Football League (UFL) announced yesterday.
The two official broadcasters of the ProLeague, Abu Dhabi Sports and Dubai Sports Channel, will both show the English commentary matches live on one of their dedicated sports channels. The decision to begin English commentary broadcasts is part of a commitment by the UFL, the Pro League's governing body, to expanding its current fan base and attracting a wider audience, including Western and Asian expatriates.
