Rafael Nadal has won the Barcelona Open final for an 11th time as the world No 1 dominated an one-sided encounter with Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Greek teenager Tsitsipas, 19, had been a surprise finalist at the tournament but it proved to be a match too far for him as Nadal cantered to a 6-2, 6-1 win.

Two breaks in the first set put Nadal in charge and he broke three times in the second set, frustrating any attempt at a fight back from Tsitsipas as he saved break points on his own serve.
The victory keeps Nadal at No 1 in the world ranking as he retained his title and followed up his victory in Monte Carlo last week.
Nadal will next head to the Madrid Open, which begins on May 7, where he is again the defending champion.

UAE's role in anti-extremism recognised
General John Allen, President of the Brookings Institution research group, commended the role the UAE has played in the fight against terrorism and violent extremism.
He told a Globsec debate of the UAE’s "hugely outsized" role in the fight against Isis.
"It’s trite these days to say that any country punches above its weight, but in every possible way the Emirates did, both militarily, and very importantly, the UAE was extraordinarily helpful on getting to the issue of violent extremism," he said.
He also noted the impact that Hedayah, among others in the UAE, has played in addressing violent extremism.
