No date or location was disclosed by police. The victim was an Asian male in his 40s who worked as a driver for a company in the emirate, police said. “Criminal investigations officers had to put in double the efforts to track down the suspect of this hideous crime,” said Col Omar Ahmed Abu Al Zoud, head of CID. “The suspect, who carries the same nationality as the victim, was arrested within 12 hours of identifying the deceased and he admitted to the crime in detail.” During questioning, the man told police he had killed his victim over a personal dispute, then chopped his body into pieces to hide his identity, before dumping them. The case has been transferred to the public prosecutors for further investigation before being sent to court.
