A man has been arrested after his wife was stabbed to death in Abu Dhabi.
Police in the emirate said the matter had now been referred to the public prosecutor after concluding their investigations into the death.
Officers did not reveal where or when the incident happened, or the ages of those involved.
In a statement released on Tuesday, police said the woman had died following a family argument.
Authorities have since urged families embroiled in sensitive family disputes to request help from social support centres and resolve any issues peacefully.
