An anonymous Emirati philanthropist has donated Dh21 million to Dar Al Ber Society, to help the funding for their projects.
Dh4.5m will go towards the construction of a mosque in Abu Dhabi’s Shamkha region that will accommodate 800 worshippers.
Dh8.5m will be used to build an Islamic centre behind Dragon Mart in Dubai, state news agency Wam reported.
The benefactor also donated Dh8m to cover the debts of eligible defaulters, said Khalfan Al Mazrouie, Dar Al Ber chairman.
