DUBAI // Roads were temporarily closed off on Monday as Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, gave King Salman of Saudi Arabia a tour of the emirate. Dubai Media Office said Sheikh Rashid Road to Al Garhoud Bridge was closed for an hour from 1pm, as was the section between Nad Al Hammar and Airport Road. Roads from Al Shandagha tunnel roundabout to Al Khaleej Road were also closed to motorists. Those driving between Al Saqr roundabout and Al Mina intersection were advised to seek other routes. Sheikh Rashid Road to Al Garhoud Bridge and Al Rebat Road to Nad Al Hammar and Airport Road were closed for an hour Earlier, a section from Seih Shuaib intersection in Abu Dhabi to the Dubai World Trade Centre roundabout was closed, also for an hour. From 11 am Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Road, from Dubai World Trade Centre to the Sana junction, and Sheikh Rashid Road, from the Sana junction to Al Mina, were closed.
