Ministry of Education sends out revised disciplinary regulations

The Ministry of Education has published the details of its new disciplinary regulations and sent them to schools across the country.

The regulations take into account the misuse of social media and smartphones against students, teachers or administrative staff, in light of videos and images that have been circulating in schools, according to a ministry source quoted by Al Ittihad, the sister paper of The National.

The regulations prioritise addressing negative conduct and encouraging positive behaviour before taking punitive procedures.
