Police reduced speed limits on major roads as thick patches of fog descended on parts of the UAE overnight. Motorists were warned not to exceed 80 kilometre per hour on several motorways between Al Ain, Abu Dhabi and Dubai, as visibility fell below 1km. The fog is expected to clear by 10.30am, leaving a fair to partly cloudy day, with temperatures reaching 26°C on the coast and up to 29°C inland. Winds will be light to moderate. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman sea. It will feel humid by night and into Thursday morning with fog and mist returning over most areas.
