Further rain is expected in some areas of the country - including Al Ain and the south-eastern parts of the Emirates - on Thursday with temperatures to reach 47°C in the capital.<br/> <br/> Heat and humidity levels will rise with hazy and overcast conditions predicted over the next two days, according to the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology. Yesterday, hail stones fell on the Sharjah desert and rain lashed the south-east of the country. <br/> Cloud cover will also increase over the eastern and some southern areas with rain likely to fall over in Al Ain, Qasyoura and Al Quaa.<br/> <br/> Moderate winds will pick up sand and dust across the exposed areas of the country, decreasing visibility, and "hot to very hot weather" is expected to continue during the weekend. <br/> Humidity levels will rise overnight and during the early morning hours with a chance of mist in the west.<br/> <br/> Temperatures will range from 30°C to 49°C in the interior regions, 31°C to 43°C along the coast, and 24°C to 38°C in the mountains. <br/> Maximum humidity will be between 75 to 95 per cent across coastal regions, between 60 to 85 per cent in internal areas and 30 to 50 per cent in the mountains. <br/> <br/> The seas will be slight to moderate.
