Eastern areas of the country are most at risk from a rain shower on Friday as most of the UAE is to enjoy clear skies and temperatures rising to 38C. It will be cooler in the north, where temperatures were under 24C in Jebel Jais on Friday morning, and more chance of hazy cloud developing throughout the day. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are forecast to enjoy a sunny, hot day, with freshening winds increasing in exposed areas through the afternoon and the possibility for blowing dust inland. Humidity will increase overnight from about 40 per cent during the day, as temperatures are expected to fall to 27C but skies will remain clear. Northwest winds will reach speeds of 17km per hour. Fog and mist remains a possibility over some coastal areas and is more likely in the north of the UAE. Saturday will be slightly cooler, with Dubai and the capital likely to enjoy a daytime peak of 36C, more sunshine and clear skies. A risk of a shower remains in eastern areas and Fujairah into Sunday.
