Almost 900 houses will be built in Abu Dhabi for Emiratis at a cost of Dh1.9bn. The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority said the Al Falah project, in the outskirts of the city, would take 36 months to complete with delivery pegged for end of 2021. The authority is working with developer Al Dar Properties to complete the project on the order of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. The authority and Al Dar Properties signed a contract to implement the project as part of the vision of President Sheikh Khalifa, and on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. The housing complex will include parks, schools, shops, medical centres and community centres, which are designed to be energy efficient. It will also include a mosque that will accommodate nearly 2,000 worshippers.
