Serious speaker Al Murr can lighten the mood at FNC

ABU DHABI // Even though he holds a serious role, the FNC Speaker Mohammed Al Murr has had members of the Parliament in giggles on a number of occasions.

In the midst of a heated debate on the Child Rights law, he accidentally told members “come on children”, instead of “come on members”.

In a debate with the Minister of Health, Dr Abdulrahman Al Owais, Mr Al Murr said the press would print that the minister neglected his health checks after he stated so in a public session.
