Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, met the President of Senegal, Macky Sall, in Abu Dhabi on Thursday. Mr Sall landed in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday for an official visit to the UAE. He and his high-level delegation were welcomed at the Presidential Airport by Awaidha Al Marar, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy. On Thursday, Mr Sall met Sheikh Mohamed at the Presidential Palace, where he was welcomed with an official reception ceremony complete with a military display. "I am delighted to welcome my friend, President Macky Sall of Senegal. We discussed ways to strengthen and develop bilateral ties as well as regional and global developments," Sheikh Mohamed said on Twitter. "We have a unified vision about the importance of security and stability in building societies and countries." After their meeting, Sheikh Mohamed and Mr Sall witnessed the signing of a number of agreements between their two countries. "We have a shared keenness to diversify and expand co-operation between our countries to serve our mutual interests," Sheikh Mohamed said.
