Tributes have been made to the late Bakhit Al Nuaimi who has been described as one of the UAE's most loyal sons. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, led the tributes, saying he had served the country with honour. "May God have mercy on Bakhit bin Suwaidan Al Nuaimi, one of UAE's most loyal sons," wrote Sheikh Mohamed on Twitter. "Since the inception of the Union, he devoted himself to serving the country with honour. He was known for his kindness and generosity, and also his very distinguished career." Al Nuaimi was a retired military brigadier and many tributes to the man flooded social media.
