Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, received Askar Mamin, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
The pair discussed several areas of interest, including trade, joint investment, food security and clean energy.
Sheikh Mohammed said he hoped the volume of trade between the UAE and Kazakhstan would double after several agreements were signed.
Also at the meeting was Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
