Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed, UNHCR Eminent Advocate for Refugee Children and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, has received the Golden Erbse (Golden Pea) Award from Marchenland, the German Centre For Fairy Tale Culture, in recognition of her outstanding efforts in the humanitarian field and social work, as well as her advocacy for refugee children, cancer patients, the needy and the vulnerable. The awarding ceremony took place at the German Music House in Berlin as part of the 26th Berlin Fairy Tale Days.
