The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation is renovating important buildings in the Serbian city of Novi Pazar.
The Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Diagnostic Hospital, the Sheikh Khalifa Primary School and Abu Dhabi Kindergarten are the names of the three projects undertaken by the foundation, according to the state news agency, Wam.
The projects were inaugurated by Juma Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Serbia, as well as the country’s prime minister and the city mayor.
Mr Al Dhaheri said the charitable projects are the symbols of strong relations between the two countries and a present for the coming generations.
The projects have an estimated cost of Dh30 million and were carried out under the directives of Sheikh Khalifa, the President, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
