Restrictions in Al Naif and Al Ras have been eased as people in these areas will be allowed to move freely between 6am and 10pm. However, restrictions will be in place between 10pm and 6am as with the rest of the city. The Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management announced easing of the previous rule after no new Covid-19 cases were recorded in the last two days in these communities. More than 6,000 tests were conducted among residents in the areas in less than a month. Comprehensive monitoring and isolation of suspected cases played a critical role in controlling the spread of the virus. The authorities thanked the residents for co-operating during the past few weeks to help curb the virus. The easing of movement in Al Naif and Al Ras follows the announcement on Thursday after Dubai lifted permit restrictions to allow residents to go out for shopping and exercise.
