Khalifa foundation launches Pakistan Ramadan aid programme

The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has launched its Ramadan Rations Programme in six regions of Pakistan on the occasion of the holy month.

The foundation has distributed 135,000 flour bags in several regions of Pakistan to date, according to a source who spoke with Wam, the state news agency.

He added that the humanitarian aid to Pakistan comes as part of the constant and continuous approach of UAE’s wise leadership to provide humanitarian assistance to needy people and provide them with a decent life, alleviating the suffering experienced by some Pakistani families.

The beneficiaries commended the generous initiative of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed. They also expressed their thanks to the Khalifa Foundation for the efforts it made to deliver the aid for the Holy Month of Ramadan.
