A man accused of breaking into a villa in Arabian Ranches and stealing Dh150,000 worth of jewellery was cleared of all charges by Dubai Court of Appeal.
He was one of two Armenians who faced charges of burglary and trespassing at Dubai Criminal Court in April.
The pair, aged 30 and 36, were arrested in February 2014 in relation to the burglary which occurred in December 2012.

An Emirati policeman said they found some jewellery in the hotel room in Dubai where the men were arrested.
“They admitted to me that they have carried out a number of thefts from villas in Dubai, and that they split the cash they steal but they send any jewellery to their home country,” he said.
When the villa owner was summoned by Dubai Police to identify the jewellery, the Indian man said the items were not his.
The two denied the charges in court and the 36-year-old man was acquitted.
His younger co-accused was sentenced to a year in jail before Dubai Court of Appeal overturned the sentence and announced him innocent of all charges.
