ABU DHABI // Traditional Moroccan music, arts and handicrafts will be on show during a week-long festival, reports Wam, the state news agency.
The Moroccan-Heritage Week takes place at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre and Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club from December 4 to 11.
It is being overseen by the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and aims to support the historic, political and cultural relations between the UAE and Morocco.
The first day is exclusively for Sheikhs, princes and other VIPs. The exhibition opens to the public on December 5.
Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club will host displays of Morocco’s traditional equestrian sports, which date back to the 15th century.
