Nineteen members of an Emirati family were rescued from a fire at their home in Ras Al Khaimah on Sunday.
Civil Defence said the fire, that was reported at midday, spread to three rooms in the two-storey villa in Al Muayrid.
Firefighters evacuated the villa of the 19 family members and extinguished the blaze before it spread to other parts of the house. No injuries were reported.
Investigations into the cause of the fire are under way.
