President Sheikh Khalifa reshuffled the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the local executive authority of the emirate, on Wednesday.
Sheikh Khalifa issued a decree saying Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, will stay on as Chairman of the council, according to Wam.
Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed, will continue as his as Deputy Chairman.
Newly appointed members of the council include: Sheikh Dhiyab bin Mohammed, Chairman of the Transport Authority; Falah Al Ahbabi, Chairman of the Urban Planning Council and Municipalities, and Mohammed Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Tourism and Culture Authority
They join current members Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed, chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court; Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa; Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon; Dr Ahmed Al Mazroui, Secretary- General of the Executive Council; Khaldoon Al Mubarak, chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority; Jassim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office; Dr Mugheer Al Khaili, chairman of the Community Development Authority; Maj Gen Mohammed Al Rumaithi, commander-in-chief of Abu Dhabi Police; Riyad Al Mubarak, chairman of the Finance Department; Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed, chairman of the Health Authority; Dr Ali Al Nuaimi, chairman of the Education and Knowledge Authority; Awaidha Al Marar, chairman of the Energy Authority; Saif Al Hajeri, Chairman of the Department of Economic Development.
The Executive Council assists the Ruler of Abu Dhabi and sets the capital's general policy, development plans and supervises their execution. The council also authorises projects, laws and decrees before submitting them to Sheikh Khalifa.

What are NFTs?
Are non-fungible tokens a currency, asset, or a licensing instrument? Arnab Das, global market strategist EMEA at Invesco, says they are mix of all of three.
You can buy, hold and use NFTs just like US dollars and Bitcoins. “They can appreciate in value and even produce cash flows.”
However, while money is fungible, NFTs are not. “One Bitcoin, dollar, euro or dirham is largely indistinguishable from the next. Nothing ties a dollar bill to a particular owner, for example. Nor does it tie you to to any goods, services or assets you bought with that currency. In contrast, NFTs confer specific ownership,” Mr Das says.
This makes NFTs closer to a piece of intellectual property such as a work of art or licence, as you can claim royalties or profit by exchanging it at a higher value later, Mr Das says. “They could provide a sustainable income stream.”
This income will depend on future demand and use, which makes NFTs difficult to value. “However, there is a credible use case for many forms of intellectual property, notably art, songs, videos,” Mr Das says.
