A repatriation flight carrying almost 200 passengers from Dubai to India has crash landed at an airport. The Air India Express flight left Dubai on Friday for Kozhikode Calicut International Airport, also known as Karipur airport, on the south-western coast of India. Local Indian media reported that the pilot overshot the runway and landed in a nearby valley. Firefighters and ambulances rushed to the scene but the plane did not catch fire. Early images showed part of the fuselage completely destroyed, splitting the aircraft in two pieces. More to follow
