F1 Race Stars Codemasters PS3, Xbox 360, PC Out on November 14 Despite being based on a toy, Micro Machines became a somewhat iconic series of games in the 1990s; a fast-paced, cutesy racer that rarely strayed from the silly. Well it seems Codemasters have given a hat nod to its classic of old with this jolly-looking arcade that takes all the seriousness of F1 and gives it a colourful spin. Cartoony caricatures of actual F1 drivers, Mario Kart-style interpretations of genuine circuits (think loop-the-loops and power ups) and added mayhem such as a Truckasaurus (no, us neither). For those who can't be doing with the straight-faced stats-heavy goings on in most Grand Prix simulations, F1 Race Stars could be exactly what you are looking for.
