A child was seriously hurt and thirteen other people injured after two bus crashes in Abu Dhabi on the same day.
Police were first called out to Al Raha Beach after a road accident involving a bus and another vehicle on Wednesday.
Three children and two women were injured in the collision.
Police said a child, whose age was not disclosed, was also seriously injured in a second crash between a bus and a vehicle near Union Bank on Al Reem Island. She was taken to hospital for treatment.
A woman suffered moderate injuries, while five children and a man and a woman received minor injuries.
Brigadier Mohammed Dhahi Al Humairi, of Abu Dhabi Police, urged drivers to exercise caution on the roads in the wake of the two incidents.

Salman Khan’s father, Salim Khan, is one of Bollywood’s most legendary screenwriters.
