A motorcyclist was killed in a road crash in Ras Al Khaimah on Monday night. The 25-year-old man died after an accident involving a 4x4 vehicle driven by a Arab man, also 25, on Al Fulaya Road. RAK Police were alerted to the incident at 11.48pm and patrols were sent to the scene along with paramedics. “The motorbike rider died on the spot after sustaining severe injuries due to the collision,” said Brig Ahmad Al Naqbi, director of the Traffic and Patrols Department of RAK Police. The body of the deceased, who was from an Asian country not specified by police, was transported to hospital in preparation for being handed over to his family for a burial ceremony. The cause of the crash is under investigation. Brig Al Naqbi urged drivers to use due care and attention and ensure roads are clear before entering them to avoid similar incidents.
