A lorry driver burned to death after a crash on Emirates Road in Umm Al Quwain early on Thursday . Two others were injured in the accident involving three lorries near Exit 93. The deceased was a 25-year-old Indian who became trapped inside the truck during the blaze. Police said they were made aware of the incident just after midnight. Two of the other vehicles were destroyed in the fire. The accident came less than 24 hours after a man was killed after his car caught fire in Dubai. He lost <a href="http://www.thenational.ae/uae/driver-burns-to-death-in-dubai-tunnel-fire-1.942949">control of his vehicle in a tunnel near Dubai World Trade Centre</a> at 12.50pm on Wednesday. Local media reported he was an Indian doctor named John Marshall Skinner, aged 60. Emergency services were unable to rescue the driver after his car flipped onto its roof. Brig Saif Al Mazroui, head of Dubai Police traffic department, urged motorists to stay within speed limits, especially in tunnels and at junctions. “They should be careful and alert to any surprises that may occur on the road," he said.
